Benefitting

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2017

6:30pm

135 Westgate Dr Huntington, NY 11743
Attire: Black Tie, Costume Optional
With deepest pride and great pleasure, the Long Island Elite (LIE) celebrates its 15 year anniversary with the return of the Masquerade Ball, to be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Oheka Castle, Cold Spring Hills.
As always, this will not be your typical charity event. The majesty and elegance of “Beauty & the Beast” has been chosen as this year’s theme, providing the background for an unforgettable night. All members of the business community are invited to “Be Our Guest” and enjoy a festive evening filled with enchantment and excitement.
Escape into a tale as old as time, where not all is as it seems. Join Belle through her adventure in search for her father beginning in her village home, through the forest, and ending in the Beast’s spellbound castle. Through the selfless sacrifice of her own freedom and her experiences that followed, we are reminded not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within.
The evening will also include passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, a lavish display of food, Oheka Castle’s famous dessert room, live music, entertainment and prizes. Guests are encouraged to dress in the evening’s theme.

LIE Charity Partner of the Year: LIAF

All proceeds from the Masquerade Ball will support and benefit the LIE 2017 Charity Partner—The Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF).
The mission of Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF) is to help improve the quality of life for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related memory disorders, and their caregivers.
For more than 25 years, LIAF has been providing supportive community-based services to Alzheimer’s families on Long Island. LIAF takes considerable pride in its pioneering role in the development of cutting edge services that foster the independence, dignity, well-being and safety of individuals with Alzheimer’s, thus aiding in the prevention of premature nursing home placement. LIAF’s programs offer help and hope for families grappling with Alzheimer’s disease.
